ECMG Explorer
ECMG Explorer allows you to perform synchronous (real-time) migrations in a WYZIWIG drag-and-drop environment. Our intuitive tree-view navigation displays multiple repositories simultaneously (e.g., FileNet Content Services, IBM/FileNet P8, Microsoft SharePoint), and includes stored searches, spreadsheets, OLEDB sources and ECM folder structures in the familiar folder analog.
Features:
-
Executes all transformations on abstract (XML-based) CDF files. Explorer generates the CDFs when extracting content from the source system, and transforms it prior to loading into the target system.
-
Uses a Wizard to build Content Transformation Files (CTFs), which, when applied to CDF’s create the desired metadata profiles for migration. The actions that can take place within a Transformation include: Create Property, Rename Property, Change Property Value (using Data Parsing of original metadata, Data Mapping from OLEDB data sources, or assigning of Literal Values), etc.
-
Transformations are reusable after initial migrations, and will facilitate bulk loading, bulk exports, etc. This is particularly relevant to Public Information Requests and eDiscovery production
-
Creates Repository Information Files (RIFs) for easy review of repository structures
